Raspberry Sapphire
Sapphire is the most popular member of the gemstone species corundum and is available in a rainbow of exciting “fancy” colors such as raspberry! These sapphires are a distinctive reddish purple hue and occur in lighter to darker tones and medium to vivid saturation. Raspberry sapphires are visually striking and are available in a variety of shapes and sizes – usually under five carats. Sapphires are very durable, making them a perfect alternative to diamonds for engagement rings. Sapphire is the birthstone for those born in September and is designated for the 5th and 45th wedding anniversaries.
